Morocco: To live in tranquility and enjoy life
They want to live in tranquility and enjoy life in peace. So strongly they do support autonomy and call for the “Polisario” to enter into negotiations that will ultimately lead to autonomy. The autonomous status will enable them to enjoy the rights it provides and will be translated into extensive powers in the political, economic, social and legal fields.
Mr. Ould Errachid has also stated that the CORCAS has done a great job on the issues that King Mohammed VI has appointed over the past four years. Through this work, we managed to change the vision of the international community vis-à-vis the representation of Sahrawi, since it is no longer appropriate to hear that the “Polisario” is the sole legitimate representative of inhabitants of the Sahara. “Great efforts” were made in the promotion of the socioeconomic development of the region.
Concerning the prospects of the Sahara issue settlement, Mr. Ould Errachid said: “it is now going in the direction of consensual solution advocated by the United Nations and found internationally a self accepted project, “which allows Morocco to preserve its unity and territorial integrity, while allowing the Sahrawi citizens to manage their local affairs and tasks…
