Morocco / Spain: Security in the Mediterranean basin
The Joint Moroccan-Spanish military Committee has ended on Thursday in Madrid after three days of consultations focusing on the illegal immigration and organized crime.
The Spanish official statement, in Madrid, has paid tribute to the Moroccan action against illegal immigration, drug trafficking and international terrorism.
Spain also supports the accession of Morocco to the NATO Operation “Active Endeavour”, whose objective mission is combating Terrorism in the Mediterranean, according to the Spanish Ministry of Defense.
